Aberdeen International Airport to get therapy dogs!

Anxious travellers arriving at Aberdeen International Airport can now cuddle dogs to soothe their preflight nerves. The 14 dogs provided by Canine Concern Scotland include Breagh the retriever and Noodle the beagle. Trained to stay calm, they stroll through the terminal in shifts, sporting bandanas to identify them as ‘therapists’. So far, says the airport’s duty manager, Fraser Bain, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. “The only danger is that people miss their flights because they are so distracted by the dogs”.
